Intentional Living is an empowerment practice that offers both individual and group psychotherapy, as well as community education services

Intentional Living’s community education services include presentations, keynote speakers, facilitation, and moderation on various topics, including mental health, anxiety, trauma sensitive space and services, panic disorder, and LGBTQ issues. These events can be small or large settings, personal or professional, one-time events or a series.

Covering the basics of mental health and mental illness, this presentation explores types of diagnosis, the value of understanding, avoiding stigmatizing behaviors and how to help ourselves and those we care about.

Trauma Sensitive Space and Services

Whether you are a leader or member of any space, it is critical to learn how we can unintentionally create unsafe space for those in our midst who have been hurt before. This presentation can create a new mindset of awareness and find the beginning steps to creating a welcome community.

LGBTQ Basics and More

Including basic definitions, exploration of experiences, how to talk about what may be uncomfortable and more. This presentation can be key in becoming an open and affirming person or organization.

Anxiety 101

What is anxiety and why do we hear so much more about it than ever before? What is a panic attack and where do they come from? Learn about how to find a peaceful life for yourself and those you love.

Interpersonal Violence

From the basics of power dynamics to a new understanding of why someone might stay in an abusive relationship, learn about how violence impacts many relationships in our communities and how to reach out safely.

Danielle has devoted her professional life to becoming a uniquely empowerment-focused therapist and community educator. In addition to working as an International Center for Trauma Professionals certified therapist, Danielle is the clinical supervisor at Family Promise of Central CT, a New Britain based program that helps homeless families to find hope and stability.
